Minor flat-spots usually on the inside rim of the wheel will be acceptable for exchange, as a rule of thumb, if the tyre still holds air it's ok. Corrosion more often than not, looks much worse than it is, only very old wheels and some chrome plated wheels are too corroded to refurbish.
